Praying From Matthew Chapter 17

Glorious Savior, what an experience Peter, James, and John had with you on the mountain.

As they watched, you were transformed. Your face shone like the sun and your clothes became as white as light. Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with you. No wonder Peter said, "Lord, it's good for us to be here."

Since you are with me always, on mountaintops and in valleys, help me to say in each hour and situation, "It is good to be here."

1 After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. 2 He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light. 3 Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it's good for us to be here! (Matt. 17:1-4, HCSB)
